Gary, I think one has to consider first principles. If you have serious questions about that money you send to the CDS/NACD each year and are wondering if those organizations really represent you, what the money goes to and if they are responsible with it, GUE shouldn't even figure into those deliberations. You don't have to belong to an organization to cave dive. Whatever reasons you have for doubting the validity of belonging to the CDS, having another organization to jump to shouldn't be part of that decision. If and when you have made the decision to leave those folks behind, then you can begin to look at GUE and decide if they have a program that interests you. If they don't, then perhaps there should be a new organization made up of divers disillusioned by the cliquish and irresponsible behavior of the entrenched agencies and devoted to safety, responsibility and accountability. It could even be associated with GUE. Call it what you will, but this is how such groups are born, out of need. Later, JoeL ----------------------------------------------- FREE!
