Kevin, I have no love for TDI or its management, but they are no worse than Gerrard and his pals at NACD and CDS, or IANTD for that matter, and Gerard has no business criticizing anyone about anything on this earth, and neither does this Matten gypsy after he participated in the worst display of unqualified incompetence ever staged in diving at Wakulla last winter. The whole issue is that these dive instructors , who could not get jobs at a carwash, are ruining diving while they try to eek out a living slamming tech and cave courses out like haircuts. Now they are pissed that TDI is cutting into their easy money machine down in Mexico. Thanks to the CDS and the NACD storeks, there are virtually no divesites left open to the public in Florida, so TDI is using the much better area in Mexcico to teach. I agree with this approach completely, since nobody but the WKPP will be doing anything for real in Florida anyway, so there is no sense training here. For Gerard to say that TDI is not teaching a good class is like Jeffry Dahmler bitching because Ted Bundy didn't eat his victims. I hope TDI takes all of their business.
