I do have the isolator turned a little toward my head (maybe
about 30deg from vertical?), but in some of the pictures it 
looks like it's a lot further than that because I took the 
shot on a downward angle to depict the regulator hoses more
clearly (I was indoors with some annoying shadows).  Anyway, 
the tilt is quite slight.

The rationale is that the tilt made it a little easier to 
reach the knob.  I'm not sure if this is a crutch or not,
but I'm not aware of it causing any problems.  Anyway, I'm
interested in hearing others' experiences on this point.
