Al -- Military convention requires that any numbering/lettering that can be viewed in more than one position have the entire sequence underlined. When I put the numbers on the side of my tank, I ~always~ underline the numbers to indicate bottom. I feel strongly that if the MOD numbering ever becomes a standard (which I'm strongly in favor of), that the underline be required. -- Robert At 05:40 PM 5/3/1999 EDT, you wrote: >Couldn't the "M" be mistaken for a "W" >Al K > >I also use the "M" at the end since this saves confusion over the "6" being >mistaken for a "9", though of course it says "Oxygen" as well anyway. > >Best >Loz > > +--------------------------------------------+ | http://www.QuadrantComputer.com - Houston | | http://www.concentric.net/~rlaird/ | | (713) 260-6586 work (713)467-4135 fax | | (713) 908-6355 pager | +--------------------------------------------+
