Mike, somebody has been cutting and pasting comments by members of
the WKPP and sending them to the State in an effort to cause us
problems. Can you get me the perpetrators to make it easier for Alton to
focus in on one or two of them. I want to make an example out of
somebody in court and put an end to this.
I am vitually certain it is either the Heinerths, Zumrick, or other
members of Stone's band of sympthizers, but it could be anyone.
Let me give you an exmample of what they send. I put Chris Werner in
charge of making the maps of the caves. This is a logical choice since
Chris works for the U.S Geological Survey. Our enemies cut and pasted
this to make it look like we do NOT make maps. As you know, I have
mapped 50,000 feet of cave in Wakulla, and a lot more than that
elsewhere in the WKP. I have been the WKPP survey man since 1991.
Despite the enormous number of maps I have made, this kind of bullshit
seems to make it though the filter.
We bought the CD ROMs of the the WKP topos and laid them into
Autocad on an HP mini for perfectly synchronized above and below ground
maps ( with data stored in a format compatible for all State and Federal
agencies to use), but this was not good enough in the eyes of our
detractors, so I let Chris handle that though his own Department.
Whoever is survey on a team still takes the data, but it goes to USGS
instead of to me, where it is appreaciated and used accordingly. I have
enough to do without being a map-maker. Chris is better at it than I am.
I can not do everything - the WKPP is too big for that. It is now run by
the "gas divers", with distinct areas of responsibility accounted for by
different members. I am the Director, but that is for continuity only. I
do not make the decisions, the Team does .
Somebody also cut and pasted comments by Scarabin where he said he
would dive in "crude oil" if it were in a cave, referring to his love of
cave diving. Somebody tied to make this appear like Scarabin does not
hold my interest in mapping the WKP. This is the kind of petty , small,
stroke bullshit that we would expect out of the Lunchbuckets, and which
is not suported by the fact that Scarabin has busted his chops along
with me , JJ, and the rest of the WKPP divers to do these dives and
collect this data. We have this data BECAUSE of Scarabin. In fact the
DEP's own surveyor and WKPP servey man , Bill McFadden, died surveying a
section of Little Dismal. This is how I got the job.
How short memories are.
Mike, I really want a name so Alton and I can teach these people a
serious lesson. Tell me what you know.
