Rumor has it that Bill Stone has created a new division of the USDCT.


The division is named the "<underline>P</underline>rofessional
<underline>U</underline>nderwater <underline>S</underline>ociety". 
This
division, PUS for short,  is geared toward the advancement of ethics and
moral standards in cave diving.  The division is modeled after the finest
of the USDCT members.  PUS is Bill's first attempt at conveying to the
world the true spirit of the USDCT.  PUS hopes to correct the false image
many people have of how the USDCT is organized and motivated.  PUS is
currently considering many methods of performing this objective.  Some of
the ideas currently suggested are:


	1: Sponsoring a design your own scooter contest.  The only rule requires
that no 

	   original designs be allowed.


	2: Hosting a digital Map-O-Thon.  All participants must create original
false images of 

	   known cave systems.


	3: A guess the deco contest.  All contestants must present a fake dive
profile and 

	   generate an incredibly long deco. to match.  The contestant that
comes closest

	   to Bill's personal longest fake dive wins a free pizza.


	5: An underwater social.  Everbody gets to meet at 120' and breath pure
O2.  Should

	   be a blast.


	6: Conducting a dive marathon to raise money for the Wakulla III project
projected to 

	   start on Oct. 1st 2007,2008,2009?
