Depending on how cold the water is and how long
your exposures are, you might be comfortable doing
what we do - cut the end of the thumb, and index
fingers off a pair of 2,3 or 4mm neoprene gloves,
down to the first nuckle wipe aquaseal around
the cut edges to prevent fraying).

The gloves keep your hands warm, the exposed tips
of your thumbs and fingers give you the dexterity
and tactile sensitivity you need for easy
manipulation of lines, knots bolt snaps, cameras,
deco toys, etc.

If you want more dexterity, take the ends of the
middle fingers off the gloves, too. If you want
more warmth, just do one glove.
