All they're really saying is that they know less about the law than they do about honesty. In a certain sense, that's actually quite remarkable. "I just 'found' these pictures lying around somewhere. I'm not sure whose they were, so they're mine now." If they're claiming they're not convinced the pictures belong to Barry, it's disingenuous to say the least. They know the pictures aren't theirs. That's sufficient for a person who is either honest or law-abiding to have not done it in the first place, or minimally to correct it once what they were doing was pointed out to them. Be thankful when you can see a snake so clearly for what he is. Many are less obvious. - Todd > DATE: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 03:38:32 > From: "Adri KC Haine" <darkangel@en*.co*> > > it says: " > I am sorry, but the pictures have been asked to be removed > > By Barry Miller of the WKPP. > > We will remove them when the copyright papers are received. > > We have stated in a e-mail to Mr. Miller this request and > > will remove them upon receipt of the copyright notice." > > at the caveworld website. > > Does that mean that, if Barry didn't actually have his pictures copyrighted, he cannot take any action against them being used? > Anyone have the legal angle on this? > > rgds > > --- > Adri KC Haine
