The people at caveworld.com ought to thank Barry for being nice.

In this litigious era, another option might have been the owners of
caveworld.com to have received a very polite, concise and professional  response
in legalese from some aggressive  law firm. This very polite and professional
letter would properly specify the the copyright violations, the amount of the
award sought for copyright infringement and suggest a convenient time for a
pretrial meeting..

I'd say that Barry was being overly kind.
They should kiss his butt for not turning this into a very nasty legal issue.
