A "trust me" dive means you believe someone else knows these things, knows YOU as well as you do.. there are maybe two other people I trust this much underwater, both of whom I've dove with for more than 20 years. Otherwise, NOTHING replaces a gradual accumulation of skills & experience,repetition & advancement. There are no one-week wonders, just accidents waiting to happen.
