Subject: mares abyss regulator

i am thinking of renting a abyss regulator to test dive with to see how well 
they deliver air and preform at 100 ft in cold water. i noticethat in the 
archives and here in the mail list no one mentions it. is there a reason for 
this. anyone with some experance with this regulator they can share with me. 
some problems i may not find on some easy practice dives?
