Gil,
I, too have a question on this: my Dive-Rite Benjamin valve (manifold) on
my hp80's is, I believe, a 300bar valve system; my Poseidons' male DIN
connectors, which are stamped "300 bar", bottom out in the sockets with no
threads showing. On the other hand, the Sherwood DIN adapter I have on my
third reg (Dacor) will bottom in these sockets with lots of threads showing
(works fine, just hideous). I was assuming that the Sherwood adapter just
had extra thread length, since the Odin "300 bar" fittings bottom in the
valves. My question is, how deep, in inches, mm, cm, or whatever, is a
300bar vs. a 200bar socket? If I in fact have a 200bar manifold, are
Poseidon 300bar male fittings shorter than what we Americans call "300 bar
fittings"?
Thanks, flames to private mail
