It is obvious that you have not seen a copy of the tables that I produced
several years ago, both air with oxygen deco (which was pretty close to
the DCIEM air with oxygen tables), and the nitrox with oxygen tables
(which were shorter than any published air tables or air with oxygen tables
available to the diving community - other than the standard US Navy air tables.)

These tables were made available to the diving community, and I had no
control over who purchased these tables. Not knowing the physical status
of this population, yes, the tables were conservative.

However, if I am supplied detailed profiles and doppler data, I can
very easily adjust the matrix that the tables are based on (much like
Bill Hamilton does for WKPP) to produce tables are "individualized", which
can offer substantial reductions in total decompression.

Please realize that technology changes, and the tables you are referring to
were produced back in the late 1980's and at that same time tables
produced by Bill Hamilton were producing 10-12 hour decompressions in
Wakulla, where tables he is producing for WKPP now are resulting in
5 hour decompressions. This same approach can be applied to tables that
I generate.

For example, here are some decompression profiles for a dive on air,
compared to the DCIEM modified air-oxygen tables (oxygen used at 20ft
instead of the DCIEM standard of oxygen at 30ft). You make the call
as to the total decom called for:

                            DEPTH 100 fsw

DCIEM total decom time | SRL total decom time
--------------------------------------|------------------------
bottom time |
                                      |
   30 minutes 11 | 10 minutes
                                      |
   45 minutes 26 | 24
                                      |
   60 minutes 41 | 40
                                      |

I do not advertise or even make announcements on the internet or
on techdiver or the Cave Diver's List that I am involved in table
generation.

I will not descend to your level and engage in name calling or
derogatory statements about you.

However, I would strongly suggest that you do a little research before
you open your mouth and insert your foot.
