please stop me if i'm making a big mistake. about a year ago, a friend of mine was bent during a runaway drysuit incident. he had just purchased the drysuit (as well as a video camera, housing, pony bottle, reg, etc...) and was a *little* unfamiliar with much of his equipment. recently i heard that he has quit diving. (i moved out of state to go to school and lost touch...) (with him :) ) he says he has slight residual pain in his left knee. (he waited five days to get to a chamber- he figured it was just muscle aches from 8 hours of towing a grapple in a 16' zodiac in six foot waves... go figure.) my question is: should i advise him to get back in the water or tell him to sell all that nice new gear to me? <jk> (mostly) really though, what is the technical diving communities stance on diving after DCS? should i explain the joys of nitrox and O2 deco? (he lives in minnesota- not much tech support there...) thanks for any advice. i'd hate to see him hurt again, but i really don't like seeing him benched for what seems a minor injury. keith ksuderma@ga*.ac*.fs*.ed*
