Hey Bob,

Is'nt it time you came clean with the real source of your scare on the
"wah-wah" dive? Being a litttle behind the times here in OZtralia I only
received the latest Aquacorps today. After reading your article I was
disapointed at the attempted cover up of the actual circumstances of your
dive. Nixon had nothing on you!

Having seen no mention of the 'real' story anywhere I feel compelled to
tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

If my memory serves me well it was while hanging at your 10ft stop,
thinking you were home free (at last) when Odom pinched you on the arse and
you thought you had been 'nipped' by one of the many Silky's (sharks)
buzzing about that you got the greataest 'scare' of your dive (life?). If
you had'nt had on your heavier rebreather weightbelt  with that extra
weight, I swear you would have rocketed out of the water onto the dive
boat, the rest of your stop be damned! (After all Bob, doesnt every one
know how much you like sharks?) Only the calming influence of such a level
head as Joe kept you hanging on deco, eh Joe?

Yes I know, I am breaking my code of silence or supposed cover up (what a
load of crap, who wrote that Aquacorps article anyway, not someone who was
there it seems?) but such a gross over sight as this could not remain in
the deep air folk lore any longer.

And no, to any one else concernd, I did not do the 'deep' dive in question,
after all there is not a lot to see at 350' in the blue on a cable, so I
was happily photographing the Silky's while on the rebreather.

By the way Bob, we have some space on some (Great) White Shark dives next
February in South OZtralia, care to join? You could bring the family maybe?
On second thoughts I guess you would'nt be interested as its from a cage
and not up close and personal enough for you! Oh well.
