It has been most helpful.  I would suggest however that you might have
suffered more damage during Test #1 than you realized :-)

PS.  Actually my whole question arose out of another dicsussion I was
     having with Carl about BCs, lift, etc, how much you need in excess
     of how negative you are, etc, and then I also saw how you said you
     had trouble stopping your descent... etc etc.
