George, >Raimo - three things - first of all you weenied at 350. >If we could just get some of these alligator-mouthed >big-timers to do this, we would not have to listen to >them on here. I weenied at 350 but better there than at 450. And from one weenie to another, we have all weenied. Anytime you want to come up north and weenie with me, let me know, weenie. That's if you can take the cold. I'll trade you, dive for dive, you in my area, then me in yours (I can take the heat). Of course this will cost you-I'd like to try some more hogarthian techniques, so you'll have to show me them. In exchange, I'll enroll you into my Combat Frogman course. I'm sure you'll love it. All the big timers know not to go deep on air, I don't think that is an issue. We need to get them to stop. The problem as I see it is to prevent those that are not as educated and/or skilled from attempting these dives. Training and gases are available, and that is clearly the safe way to complete dives to excessive depths-you and I both know it from past experience. >Secondly, you put out a grossly incomplete >list of idiots - you forgot at least five of the top >strokes off of here. Forgive me for I have sinned. >Third, why would you or anyone else >care what was written in Aquacorps? The admission of having >read this by Selchow says it all - consider the source. I don't. But I don't like being mis-quoted, especially in an article that so many people assume I wrote. But more importantly, bad articles reflect on tech diving, and a little information............you know the rest. Also, George, any information from the cave community you can foward to me about OMS products, good or bad, would be appreciated. Later Kimosabee, Raimo.
