I do not think we have anything to flame. The reference I implied is a behavioural conditioning that I think all deep divers relate to. However as also pointed out the mental and physcial agility is diminished. The comparision to drinking I thought was a good point. Fact is the primary danger of diving below 200 on air has a history of numerous deaths and thus should be avoided. The overall cause is most likely the combined effects of nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Simply put deep diving is hazzardous to ones health.
