Dave Maynard you asked about getting into <tech diving>...Dave, I've been called a lot of things and most of them are just fine with me, but lay off the Gentleman crap will you. A good percentage of this list is female and most of the rest of us don't qualify as gentle.... Now, to business....please listen to what the people on this list are saying...especially Laurie-Anne since she's a much better diver than you....Yes I do know her, Canada's a real small country you know....Buy some good quality basic gear and get some dives in a variety of conditions. Watch the way people do things...ask questions if stuff seems to make no sense....and beware of equipment salesman and instructors trying to sell you a quick fix for your desire to become a <tech diver>...whatever that is. Take care and dive safe....by the way, I'm an instructor trainer for a <tech> agency so take the advice about courses seriously, you're just the sort of sucker too many of my <peers> are looking for. Anyhow, good luck Dave and I hope you smarten up before Laurie gets her hands on you! Hey L-A how about joining us on the trip to Kingston on the 18th...might be looking at a new site!!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: steve.lewis@pr*.or* (Steve Lewis) This message lovingly processed in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, Canada by: PrimeTime BBS - (705)689-1757 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
