William Hogarth Main is one of the best cave divers aroud today. He
lives in Gainsville, Fl. Over many years, and many dives a style was
achieved that allows the diver to move through a cave, cleaner, faster
and with less effort. This was by trial and error, and many different
modifications. It continues to change, and grow today.

Hogarthian is minimalism. Take only what you need -not all you own- and
arrange it in the safest and most streamline manner conceivable.

All dives! OW, cave -big or little- and any and all other types of
diving. It is an attitude about your gear, not just a way to arrange
things. They must compliment each other.

This has been posted "numris" times. WE all await the printing of Bill
(Rainman) Gavin's article that was written many years ago for the NACD
cave diving book. This is perhaps the definitive paper on cave gear
configuration.
