While "not biting the hand that feeds" certainly seems to have played a part in the closing of cavers, I think several people are overlooking the part of the message about "mudslinging". This past week (IMO) saw cavers sink every bit as low as techdiver has (had) in the mudslinging department with references to Adolf, ascii-art middle fingers, etc etc. If people want to blame Dive-Rite I can't stop you, but how about only blaming them for 99% of it, and placing at least 1% of the blame on the willingness of everyone to continuously sling mud. Then next time you feel the need to sling mud on techdiver maybe that 1% will make you think twice, so that we don't lose techdiver as well. It may not be always be the best list out there, but as of now, its just about the only one and JR has said he doesn't have the time to play mediator as Ken was good enough to do when things got ugly.
