John, certainly there are people worth dying to try to save. In most 
situations like that you don't really know whether you are going to die 
or not, so you go for it and take a chance. In the case of 140 fsw on 
pure O2, especially working hard, you have NO chance of surviving and you 
should know that from the moment you put the regulator in your mouth. 
I know how you feel but I would NOT make that choice. The issue is 
different if you are talking about committing suicide over grief for a 
loved one. I'm sorry. Rod
