Regardless of how he might have helped you personally, there are scores
of people who are now off this list who also would be providing much
more good information than George ever gave. Six months ago things
were a bit different, but lately George has been averaging 2 bits
of good advice or "knowledge" for each 100 abusive postings. 

If anyone here misses him, go subscribe to cavers, Techdiver
should never have been allowed to become his podium, or anyone
elses for that matter. There are an awful lot of people on this list
with brilliant input and intuitive questions that we won't
miss his attacks, although I'm sure he would beg to differ. 
And no, I won't claim to be one of them.
