In my experience, I have not seen development of a tolerance for anesthetic 
gases secondary to repeated exposure. Indeed I can find no mention of this 
in anesthesia texts. Even if repeated exposure resulted in the ability to 
tolerate these substances(fluorinated hydrocarbons) extrapolation of the data
to hyperbaric N2 would likely be worthless.
