Subject: Re marker buoys

Here's a nifty marker bouy idea that is:
1. effective
2. high visibility
3. Almost free
4. expendable or reusable
5. easy to use

Simply remove the silver mylar liner from one of those liter sized "boxes o'
wine". If the cheap burgundy inside offends you, then save it for me. Don't
forget to recycle the cardboard box. Remove the plastic cap from the mylar bag.
Tie a reel line around the plastic spout's flange.

To deploy the marker put a breathful of air in the bag, and deploy the line.
That's all there is to it.

It won't dump on the surface like a lift bag, and you can retain your lift bag
for more important things, like lifting.

It's silver, and easily seen.

I like and regularly use Pelican products, including the float. In this case, I
obviously exceeded its design parameters. But for all around use, I prefer the
lift bag/ascent line rig.
