Once again, Tom Mount has chosen to glorify
diving deep on air, recommend dangerous PPO2's,
and refer to ancient history and antiquated studies
to support his contentions. He again invokes the
name of Bill Hamilton, who does my tables, in a
completely erroneous manner.

Let me say this once and for all:

   1) neither Tom nor anyone he has trained has done
any deep mixed gas cave exploration diving in
      Florida.

   2) modern information indicates that deep air is
a pysiological problem, and Tom is totally
      irresponsibe for recomending it.

   3) deep air is a proven danger, and tom is out
of line in recommending or glorifying it.

Let me suggest to all of you that this guy needs
to be avoided like the plague. If he wants to sue
me, I welcome it. I am really sick of his
cavalier attitude when it comes to other peoples
   lives. - George Irvine

somebody needs to put this on techdiver
