I have done it for years. I did one of the first succesful mixed gas dives in Eagle's nest sink. I was doing trimix diving when people were still referring to nitrox as "nitrous". My company wrote the software for three succesful dive computers (major manufacturers). I was a support team member on Sheck Exley's 1989 Mante expedition. Shall I go on? As for "sitting around reading this bullshit" as you say, that is what it is beginning to feel like. Maybe I will look at these posts less, and dive more. As for "growing a set of balls", I earned mine cave diving in England (Re: back issues of Underwater Speleology, 1986-86 timeframe). Most cave divers that I know are generally friendly.
