I followed your reasoning very well. As I stated earlier, I'm setting up my pony rig right now and actually got the pony today. I have put the pony tamers on it and seems to be just fine. I plan on using my pony for pretty much saftey stops. The diving that I'm mostly doing right now is no deco dives to 100'. These dives are usually pushing no deco time limits on my computer and the main purpose of my pony (with EAN32 or 36) is just to make my ascents and saftey stops safer. I see nothing wrong with using this added saftey to reduce that risk of pushing it to far. It could still work as a bailout with these depths. You would have to be careful if you swithed at 120', but ascending slightly would solve that problem. BUT! I would not want to use it as managed gas to deeper depths, because of the bailout problem. I would not feel safe at deeper depths using a high EAN mix, either. At this point, why not use a smaller pony with air to reach the shallower water then swith to a higher EAN mix? This would make the bailout even safer. JUST MY THOUGHTS! Aloha, Tony
