Hi! A question from a non diver, how do you measure how much gas there is in a bottle? This question is because most of the divecomputers I have seen connects to the bottle with a highpressure hose so I assume that they measure the gaspressure in the bottle. As an engineer I find this strange because this adds parts that can have critical failures. A much better way are to measure the strain on the bottle and use this to calculate the pressure in the bottle. This will not add critical components. If there are sufficient interest I can come up with a solution. John Erling Blad
