Anthony, My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. We have a "fairly simple" method of testing for VO2 max on a bicycle ergometer, using the measurements of work output from the ergometer (calories, joules, etc) along with heart rate from a polar vantage XL heart rate monitor (with PC down load) and body weight. This all plugs into a nice little equation, but I may be able to come up with an easier approximation for you and other tech divers. Give me a few more days untill I can get a hold of the guy I go to as the "top expert" on exercise physiology, Terry Giles....he may have an easier method. Regards, Dan >Dan you mentioned a simple test for finding VO2 max. What is it? - Tony > > Dan Volker SOUTH FLORIDA DIVE JOURNAL http://www.florida.net/scuba/dive 407-683-3592
