Divers, Things are changing in the diving market. As aware divers perhaps we should change if there is a better way. I started diving many years ago when the "J" valve was the normal valve of choice for many (Double Hose Reg. / No SPG) divers of that time. Since then, the SPG has come out, the double hose reg has given way to single hose reg's. So there isn't much need today for a "J" valve on tanks. But things are still getting better. What about the "K" valve. Is it the best choice? I don't thinks so. I have remove all the "K" valve from my personal tanks and replaced them with DIN (DIN 300) valve. Din valve provide a much more solid attachment point for a regulator. Gary McGee (gmcgee1@pm*.pt*.fo*.co*) Detroit, MI USA Great Lakes Wrecker
