I do this a few times through out the dive to help insure that the reg does
not flood. If the reg does flood, as soon as possible after the dive,
remove the second stage hose at the first stage and flush fresh water
through thru the hose and second stage. If the first stage has water in it
flush it out as well. Shake out and blow out as much excess water as
possible, re-assemble the reg and then hook it up to a tank and flow air
thru it for 10 minutes or so. No garauntee, but it has worked the three
times I've tried it. - Tony
