Amen.  You say it better than I flame.
The other day Maiken put a comment on about bubble theory and the advantages
of deep stops.  On a 250'-20min dive it looks like total time in water is 6
minutes less by adding one minute stops every 10 feet from 160 through 100.
 Aside from the additional OTUs and gas used is this additional deep stop
profile somehow circumventing the model used by decom?  
Same question to you Chris.  I haven't tried this with Abyss yet but I wonder
if the same thing will happen.
