That is because the C-card means just as much as the sheet of paper I got
at a management training seminar. It states that the reciepient "been
there, done that" and nothing more.

I think that this is generally the case for the "members" of the
organizations. I know of no exceptions. The members pay annual dues and
receive updated information, etc. which they are REQUIRED to read and
implement.
