Another input on these deep diving regulators from a humble deepdiver. I agree with the masses....I LOVE my Poseidon Odin. As for the adjustment, we service them, and I have found them easy to service (not as expensive to fix as you would think). I am very comfortable with the second stage simplicity, and they have given me fabulous cold water performance with no freezups even at 200' and 34deg.f. It is truly the porsche of diving. On the other hand, I have also had quite a bit of experience with the USD ARCTIC/SEA combo, and have also found this to be a great cold and deep performer. (The Canadians like 'em I hear too) I have never had a problem breathing comfortably with them, although I have never breathed them below 250' before. Up here in the Arctic Lake Superior area though, I must say that there is only one way to go....full face masks! Either a Poseidon in a Parkway el'cheapo full face, or, an AGA. I use an AGA with comm. for a ll of my deep and cold dives. Can't live without it. The hard part is integrating mixed gas into AGA diving. I've had to come up with my own manifold system. It works well into the 300's, but I wish there were a commerically available item I could get. Any ideas? Sorry for rambling...couldn't resist the regulator discussion.
