As long as I'm writ'n I'd like to say a thing or two on this issue of dive standards that keeps cropping up every now and then. Simply put...I think standards are for wimps. A real man knows when he's too zonked to go deeper. Why, just the other day I was swim'n round in my favorite hole no deeper than 40 feet and the strangest thing happened...I got blotto! I'm talk'n schnookered. But I knew enough to go back up to the surface (I did have a tough time figur'n out which way it was though) It wasn't till I finally got back on dry land that I discovered the error of my ways. Ya see,I do alot of welding and I got so many big cylinders in my garage I accidently filled my tanks from the acetylene cylinder instead of the oxygen cylinder when I mixed up some homebrewed nitrox. Wo dude...What a buzz! So do any of you weenie standards divers want to tell me what maximum ppC2H2 I should be div'n? One thing I will say though...I'll never light up a cigar after div'n acetylene again. It's gonna take months for my hair to grow back! Somebody toss me a PBR will ya! DiveDevil ;-)
