Would you care to elaborate some more?  What do you study?
Old ships?  Or are you into flooded cities?  The closest I've
come to underwater archaeology is an old shell of a wreck in
Lake Winnepessaukee, NH, which is covered in neatly positioned
marker lines and signs indicating that it is a UNH Archaelogical
Site.  Exactly what would be being studied here?
