Hi All,

There has been a rash of complaints about the S/N ratio.  I've been
loath to comment too much on this for fear of worsening the situation.

Oh well, I guess I'm just a motor mouth.

Look, There are *lots* of people on this list with more knowledge
and experience than me.  Some of them have unsubscribed due to the
poor S/N ratio.  They seemed to want the ratio improved by lowering
the noise.  How about turning up the *Signal*!

I've made an effort to comment every time I had something to add.
Often this hasn't been much, but I've *tried*.  How about not sending
the message "I'm leaving", send instead something of value!
