Slammer Dear Mr. Slam, Actually there are several benefits to diving deep on air. The greatest benefit by far is that the narcosis is much greater than on trimix. This greatly contributes to witty post-dive fireside chats, where, if you are lucky, you can hear clever repartees like "Daaaa, wow man, I was really fucked up, huh, huh, huh.!" Being new to this list you probably don't know that real men never dive 1.4 or 1.6....Not if you got da big kahuhnas (know what I mean). Yea-sir-ree...it don't get no better than sit'n round da ole campfire knock'n back some PBRs and try'n to remember the dive. Yea, an if yer real lucky ya might get ta smoke some bone too! DD
