I have to agree. Jeff's comment, intentional or not, gets an 11.0. > PS Gotta agree with Nick, originality counts- butt pirate was a real chuckle > when I heard it a couple years ago, it is the opposite of "carpet munchers". > "Bone smoker" would be a 10 if original, but by overuse it gets derated down > to near nothing. And grade-school stuff like "Pinky" gets the trap door in > the floor. I've received a lot of mail lobbying support for the "bone smuggling/bone smoking" comment as supreme among one liners on this list. Sure, the "Bone" is a classic, but it was just a striaght-shot insult. "Ball" gets top ratings because of the *delivery*, not just for itself. As you'll recall, its first use was in the context of (not sure of the exact wording): "First of all, let's get off to a good start. Lick my ball bag." You see? It is the juxtapositioning of a friendly, cheerful, optimistic first sentence, with the blunt, hard, cold, *crude* second sentence that makes this one the true standard to judge by. To be as insightful and brilliant an insult-humor-judge as myself, you *must* examine the context! Maybe I am losing it? Must have been that friggin' open circuit air dive that did it to me. yucko.
