Gary,

Most tech divers I've seen are stupid. Trained by stupid tech Instructors,
now the student thinks he is a tech diver. If the Instructor lacks experience
and knowledge, then so will the student, at least initially. I personally
know ANDI ( sorry George, but your ANDI rating is as meaningless as tits on a
.........)  instructors that were given Instructor ratings in technical
diving, and never made a technical dive!!!!!! 

Agencies need to be more rigid with Instructor training at this level, and
hence there material, standards and attitudes must address this. In many
cases, George is right, too many weenies, too many wanna bees. And it sounds
to me like your one of them.
