Hi Fellow Divers, My name is Jeff Avrin and I am student attending Rochester Institute of TEchnology. I am majoring in Food Marketing and distribution. Anway I am advance o.w. diver and taking rescue this summer. I love scuba diving because oberserving a total different habitat. Seing buetiful fishes and plants is also enjoyment. Iam interested in seeing mermaids if there were any. The reason of subscribing this news is get information and tips about scuba diving. The big question I always wondered is what is the best way to stop or cut down ear pressure. My instrutor told me taking non drowsy cold pills couple hours before diving helps. I also wonder the device called SCUDA (Self Contained Underwater drinking APPartus) I saw that in the performance dive magazine and wonder does that work and thinking about buying that. It just pressure cause my nose to bleed often and it hurts sometimes. I just suffer and gets better later in the dive. It only hurts when diving deeper than 50 ft and it eventually stop. I know about squeezing nose and blow. But that technique does not help alot for me. Any suggestions or ideas?? Feel free to ask questions or send me E-mail. Thanks and Happy Diving! Remember, Never Dive Alone and hold your breath!! ScubaBum
