Pat,

Thanks for asking this question.  I am sure there are a few people on
this list that may consider "taking up" technical diving through one
of the "official" agencies.  As it is, with the inner politics and
bickery between informal institutions and agencies like TDI and
IANTD, the image of technical diving looks very bad from the outside.

Please explain, don't just shoot down!
