I'll be going back to my usual lurk mode until I feel I can contribute
something useful to this list but before I go, let me summarize the
misinformation I posted on this list during the last few days:

- Building your own light is relatively simple and can save you money.
- Narrow-beam MR-16 bulbs are a good choice for dive lights and appropriate for
many diving situations.
- A bad canister design can lead to explosions (happened to me).

George seems to think that stuff like this can kill you, so better forget about
this sort of "advice" from a dumbass like myself.

As for the rest of George's delirium, I think he got me confused with another
one of his pen pals. I never asked about catalysts OR $4.00 bulbs, but insults
are cheap, so I guess he put in a little more just in case he missed the right
person earlier.
