If some of you out there could e-mail me some information of Patent Foramen 
Ovale and its impact on divers I would appreciate it very much. It seems 
that I have seen something recently where some analysis was done between the 
occurrence of PFO and DCS hits. I seem to remember a rather high correlation 
between the two. If you would e-mail it to my address 
tchristo@pd*.ti*.ro*.af*.mi* I would appreciate it very much and it would 
reduce the traffic on the techdiver board. I'm sure most folks don't want to 
see this again. I have a friend who's son was recently certified and he has 
this problem . His pediatrician had cleared him to dive but I suspect that 
he is not familiar with diving and partial pressure issues. Perhaps the 
certifying agencies should include on their physical forms a note advising 
 physicians of the problems associated with PFO and diving.
