There are several good cave mapping programs that would probably be very useful for you..most have 3D, different colored levels and many other features. The easiest way to get them in OZ would be to FTP them. There are two sites I know of.. ftp.speleology.cs.yale.edu and gserv1.dl.ac.uk check the pub directory first. I have tried Compass and like it. Others are Karst256, Comp0695.EXE (latest version of Compass), and WinKarst (for windows). Avoid SMAPS as it is older and costs $100 US. Most of the shareware I cited is around the $35 range. Another program, CAPS, is good underwater because it accepts depth guage readings for the vertical component. It costs $35 US from Hubert Crowell in Georgia, phone 404-971-7588 USA. If you wish, I could send a 52k file which is a review of cave mapping programs taken from the NSS Cavers Digest.
