        There is a good article on DCS in the August 1995 issue of
Scientific American.  There's even a side bar on Technical Diving complete
with pictures.  The article is written by the doctors from DAN, Vann, Moon,
and Bennet.

        Most interesting is an alegedly statistical link between PFO and
neurological DCS. According to the article 50% of the divers treated at Duke
for neruological hits had PFO.  PFO statistically according to the authors
exists in 20% of the population.

        I feel the article is worth reading though it may prove too basic
for some.
