I have been quoted WITHOUT attribution so many times I'm FIGHTING MAD. For example, many years ago I said, "Give me liberty of give me death". Did I get credit for it, NO! Or what about my statement, "a penny saved is a penny earned". Did I get credit for that. NO! More recently on one of my many expeditions, I said, "one small step for man...", you know the rest. Did I get credit for that? NOOOOO! But when your friend said, "a mind is a terrible thing to lose", I got credited for that. SO, I am now copyrighting in my name the use of the following intellectual words THE, OF, DIVING, DECOMPRESSION, STUPID, TECHNICAL, REBREATHER, SCUBA DIVER, GEEK, NURD, ARE, IMHO, ;), LIST, FOR, DEEP, AIR, OXYGEN, TRIMIX, COMPUTER, INSTRUCTOR, CERTIFICATION, BOAT, LINE, I, ME, MY, MINE, FLAME, the vowels a, e, i, o and u, DEAD, DIVER, IS, DUMB, the numbers 1-598 and ETC. This copyright is effective 8/4/95. If anyone on the list attempts to violate my copyright, I will e-mail my friend, who's name is spelled with all vowels, to you and he will bust your chips. I will also sue you. I also said, when speaking to a large group of ichthyologists, "even a fish wouldn't get into trouble if it kept its mouth shut". Did I get credit for that. NOOOO! Pyle did.
