So, according to Devon's reply to my question, ripping off someone's 
words from another medium is still ripping off. Perhaps an equitable 
response to a/C would be to scan the whole magazine and e-mail it to 
everyone on the Net, making it unneccessary to buy it? ;-) But that's not 
a "good karma" solution. I wonder how many of us  (at 
least those who say useful/interesting  things) would be surprised/happy 
at finding his/her e-mail words in a widely popular book that someone was 
profiting from. Would you/should you get a cut?
