Request for answers : survey about force fins --------------------------------------------- THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL SURVEY ! MISSION : The author of this survey has no links with the company making Force Fins. My intention for this survey is to provide a focused view of the usage of Force Fins for the benefit of the divers community only. Enhancements or ideas might be formulated ... which might be picked up by the manufacturer ! PARTICIPANTS : For active force fins users only ! If you have used them for a certain amount of time (1 yr min) and switched back to conventional fins you may also participate. ANONYMOUS : Peoples names , addr etc .. will NOT be used in the survey. ANSWERING GUIDELINES : Please stick to the facts. (keep fairytales for the kids) Try to tell as much with as few words as possible. When doing estimations try to be reasonable. Please state your experience (short form : max 15 lines ) with force fins. Please tell what motivated you switching to them. ( and for the has beens what motivated you switching back ). Please indicate what the strongest and weakest points of the FF are. Tell me also how long you are using them and under what conditions you like or dislike them. Please indicate if you are still using other fins and for what reason. In case you use both FF and conventional types try to estimate how much of your diving goes with FF (express it in %). If that number relates to a particular kind of diving please mention that also (e.g only shore dives) If you made special adaptations to the force fin please describe what you modified and state why you did do that and eventually how. If you would like to have adaptations made on them by the manufacturer please indicate that also (which kind and for what reason). You may comment about any other FF item not being covered by the above. Please email answers directly to my addr (u18218@kb*.be*) with Subject:FF SURVEY Your participation will be rewarded by the results of this survey being forwarder to scuba-l around the end of september. Thanks in advance ! HAPPY SAFE diving Xavier Merlin Systems Programmer KREDIETBANK BELGIUM
